Hi all,I have been feeding a Ferrel cat and she had 6 kittens. The kittens are 6 weeks old now and she brought them up on the porch to start eating solid food. I can't get near the mom, but when I open the door and let her in while I am getting her food she comes in and walks around meowing like she was my cat. If I get too close she runs away. I put food out for her and the kittens and they are eating. I try to pick the kittens up sometimes or pet them while they are eating, but I am not…See More

"They are beautfiul..... but be patient.. i once had a cat that i "swiped" on occasion, and finally, after a few years, she warmed up, and eventually lived in my house until she was 21 years old :)

Would like to know a bit more about your colony. How many cats are you feeding? Have you spayed/neutered any of the cats? What type of help were you looking for?
Just need a bit more detail, and we may be able to determine what we can offer.

Thanks for the welcome Patty. I live in a mobile park and so many of the animal owners could not care about getting their pets fixed. I am currently feeding a pregnant grey and white striped feral cat. She has had one liter already. I also feed the neighbors large orange tiger cats. (For some reason it seems many people think cats only need to eat once a day.) These cats also have health issues I am unable to address. I am very low income and looking for help in my area getting the cats fed and fixed so these problems don't continue.

Approx Age: 14 years old. Stray cat that came to my house when he was around 1 year old. He had FIV and lived his entire life inside my home. A truly amazing, sweetest cat around. He will be missed forever.
Approx Age: 20 years old.
Found in my feral colony. I took her home and she lived indoors for over 14 years. I will miss her, as she was a very sweet and gentle cat.
Approx Age: 11 years old.
Rescue Cat who lived with FIV for a good number of years. He died of kidney failure. He was a wonderful cat, and I'll miss him.
Story above. She passed away Father's Day weekend 2009. At least she lived the remainder of life in a loving, safe, warm environment.
I will miss her.
Approx Age 10 years old.
Adopted through a shelter at age 4. He was a wonderful, loving dog.
Approx age: 21 years old.
Long story short, she became part of my family, and lived indoors for over 15 years.
Approx. Age 19 years old.
Son of Mama Kitty. Born into a feral colony, and just like his mother, was extremely social.
Became part of my family and lived indoors for over 14 years.
Approx Age 11 years old.
Stray cat that wandered to my home. Extremely affectionate.
Soon became part of my family.
A chocolate lab who had a loving home for over 16 years. She was the best dog anyone could imagine. She was loved and will be missed forever.
Approx Age 12 years old.
Stray cat that wandered to my home.
Very friendly and was very fat during her younger years.
Soon became part of my family.

I am assuming he was Rocky's brother. Extremely affectionate.
